This past weekend I read a most enjoyable little story. It warmed my bones and put a smile on my face.
Lindsay Downs, Emily Dahill CID Part 1, is a short-story with big heart. Wounded in action, Sgt. Emily Dahill is forced to take leave from the Army. Upon returning, Sgt. Dahill reenters the Army as Emily Dahill, CID. And finds she has befriended her new partner. With his only intention on keeping his partner safe, Dakota will take anyone down who appears a threat....he'll even BITE them if he has to.
Give yourself a special treat and crack open (or turn on) Ms. Downs' short-story, Emily Dahill CID. You'll fall in love with her as well as her DOGgone cute and cuddly partner, Dakota. It is enjoyable, tender-hearted, and entertaining...with a touch of suspense.
